4-Day Naivasha & Samburu

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley, making a brief stop at a viewpoint to enjoy the dramatic escarpment views. Continue to Naivasha, arriving in time to relax and settle in. Later, visit Hell's Gate National Park, where you can explore the park's unique landscapes of cliffs, gorges, and geothermal features either by vehicle, on foot, or by bicycle. Expect sightings of wildlife such as zebras, gazelles, and buffalo. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, depart Naivasha and journey north through Kenya's changing landscapes toward Samburu. Arrive around lunchtime at your lodge or camp. In the late afternoon, head out for an evening game drive in Samburu National Reserve, known for its rare northern species such as the Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, and Somali ostrich. Return to camp as the sun sets for dinner and overnight.

Start the day with an early breakfast before setting out for a full-day game drive across the reserve. Explore the diverse terrain along the Ewaso Nyiro River, a lifeline that attracts a wide variety of wildlife including elephants, lions, and leopards. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush, allowing you to stay immersed in the wilderness. Continue with game viewing into the afternoon before heading back to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

After breakfast, you have the option to visit a traditional Samburu village (at an extra cost) to experience local culture, traditions, and way of life. Thereafter, depart Samburu and drive back to Nairobi, enjoying the changing scenery along the way. Arrive in the late afternoon, marking the end of your safari adventure.
